Hammersmith & Fulham’s corporate communications manager Louise Raisey, who helped choose KWIK Zip in 2009, said that its vehicles are a ‘popular and effective communications’ medium that draws positive resident comments. “Part of our strategy was to change campaign message several times during the year. Refreshing the message maintains public interest and awareness, and the vehicles are an important communications asset,” she said. The KWIK Zip banners for the latest campaign were refitted to all 27 vehicles during just one weekend, meaning there were no service interruptions. According to Raisey, this speed and overall system flexibility are key benefits, as is the customer service ethos of the EPIC Media team. “The overall resilience of the banner designs is another important factor,” she added, “as all local authorities need to ensure they get maximum value for money. The old banners that were demounted held up far better than I imagined. They were almost as good as new and I was very pleasantly surprised at how robust the system is.”
